He's just a loon.

Me: "Well, Muffin Man, it looks like you're not listening. So I think we just need to go home."
MM (shrieking): "But I want to go to Costco!!!!!"

Sounds just like something mine would say . . . except my girls have a love affair with WinCo.

I have no clue what he likes at Costco, but running2ks guess is probably a good one.

Definitely the samples. My kids LOVED BJ's wholesale club for the same reason.

I love going to Costco on the weekends to try all the samples, and I'm (I think) a grownup. :)

you should've asked him what he wanted to do before telling him what he had to do :p when do kids ever listen to what is wanted of them? :p

No Costco here, but we do have Sam's, and I want some samples too, now that you mention it. :-) MM is hilarious.

Welcome blog writer! Amazingly enough, the thing we were arguing over was: he wanted to throw away his chocolate eclair. I told him he couldn't. He threw it on the ground first and then wouldn't pick it up to throw it in the trash.

A chocolate eclair!!! That I would have happily eaten for him!

So I went to Costco while he had a nap.

Nap therapy. Always a winner.

He was clearly in need of a nap if he threw away a chocolate eclair! The horror!

I'm telling you, I'm still having nightmares!

Anyone who would throw away a perfectly good chocolate eclair *needs* a nap! :)

We don't have a Costco, but we do have the ever-present Wal-Mart, which I seem to spend waaaayy too much time in.
