Some housekeeping notes

Every so often I find a new blog, or a new blogger finds me and I wait until I have a bunch of new ones and then I add them to my list at the right.

At the same time, I go through the list and I grit my teeth and I remove links to blogs that haven't updated in a while.

This is one of those times. I've added several new friends and said sad goodbyes to others. If you are a blogger that I've removed, start posting again and let me know!!!! (And if I've over-looked adding anybody, please let me know.)

yeah, I never know whether to keep people on my blogroll or not... sometimes my blogroll is an accurate representation of who I read... other times it's representation of who links to me... I have to think about what I consider to the the purpose of my blogroll.

I hate taking people off my blogroll, too. But sometimes you have to, I suppose. Can't wait to browse yours and find some new good ones!

I never know what to do with my blogroll. I think at some point I just started linking to anyone who linked to me.

I always feel sad deleting someone who hasn't posted in months, but I get sick of clicking on a link and seeing the same exact post time after time.

I'm with everyone, I hate to remove someone from my blogroll, but sometimes it has to be done.

Thanks for adding me, Liz!

I'm here! I may not say much, but I read! :)

I'll try to be better about contributing, but it's hard during the week. There aren't enough hours in the day!

KLee, I'm not talking about YOU. I'm talking about people who haven't posted in a month or more.

I feel the same way. I feel super guilty taking people off, but I get tired of clicking on the same links and there are so many people I want to add to my list!

Well I just deleted my entire list accidentally the other day while trying to add someone new... So I'm sure I've pissed off a few people trying to remember who was on it.

Oh well... I'd love to add blogroll, but I've screwed up my template so badly already, I'm afraid to try anything else.

Thanks for adding me. :)

On the blogroll question, I just have blogs I read on my blogroll (although I read a few others regularly too and just haven't got around to adding them yet). I would probably delete blogs that hadn't been updated for a long time, as it is annoying to keep clicking through to a really old post, and I don't that think bloggers who don't blog would expect to stay on people's blogrolls indefinitely.

Shucks, thanks for keeping me on. :) I hate pruning my blogroll too, but I also hate when blogs list five thousand links. Yeah, right. I read all the blogs on my list, so I try to keep it short.
